  3. Nearly puked at the picture of her greasy pan pizza. The food was bad enough but the black dirt under her fingernail was disgusting. Imagine how much bacteria she transfers to what she eats. Ironic given that she makes soap. Does she even own a nail brush? Pizza is a high caloric meal cooked in the traditional manner but frying it in oil and topping it with greasy meat is extremely unhealthy ... and not a vegetable in sight.

    1. I also loathe the sick sight of her puke pan pizza. What a gross mess. It’s no wonder why Jenna’s almost two hundred pounds by her own admission. Her hands and filthy fingers are repulsive.

    2. Everything she makes looks disgusting. On rare occasions, the base is vegetable (like the ocasional autumn squash), but she then smothers it in sugar and fat, until the meal looks repulsive.

And dirty fingernails? What else from a person who bragged about animal waste on unwashed hands?

Aren't we all surprised she hasn't come down with a serious disease, given her unsanitary habits? But then she's probably never close enough to the animals to get infected. You'd have to handle, train and clean up after them - chores she apparently never does.

    Cold Antler Farm

For any dreamers struggling right now:

I’ve been self employed since 2012, the year I quit my corporate job to try being a full-time farmer and writer at home.
It’s been the hardest and most rewarding endeavor of my life. It’s never felt safe, I haven’t slept well since my twenties, and I never know if the month I’m currently living here will be my last. There hasn’t been any security the whole time, just hope it’ll get easier if I don’t give up.
People get so frustrated I don’t quit, and many readers are exhausted for me. I know because I’m told how idiotic and embarrassing I am every week. Here’s why I haven’t:
I bought my 6 acres and 1000 square ft house in 2010 with a 38k corporate graphic designer salary. I hated that life so much it was killing me. Not hyperbole.
So I quit. I cashed out my young 401k (8k as a cushion that lasted 2 months ) and I’ve never had that much money for that long on hand since. My house doesn’t have heat outside of fire in a stove. My laundry is still done in the town laundromat. I never got a passport. My car is 15 years old. I’ve been unmarried, childless, and struggling the whole time.
I am telling you it was the best choice of my life and I regret nothing.
Because of this farm I was able to build the character that stopped my bulimia- which was destroying my teeth, heart, and hope. I beat addiction to alcohol(going on 5 years sober!). I finally came out after decades of internalized homophobia.
Now at 42, the person I was trying to be 15 years ago has finally hatched. I don’t think the comfortable version of me could have done that. I know because I was her.
I genuinely thank every reader following my story. I have never achieved “success” but I have managed to live a life that feels holy and full in nature for 13 years, and I am only here because you didn’t give up either.
When I make May house payment, the Richter Scale will clock it. Thank you for being here to witness the tremors.
    I’m not giving up.
    You shouldn’t either.

I truly wouldn't care about her going after her dream if it didn't include animal neglect, public obfuscation & misrepresentatio and almost continual begging for financial support.

THIS is why people tell her to get a job.

    3. What a con cunt, and lazy, lying loser. The only “tremors” that will be felt in our area is when Wog waddles around town. I’m shocked that she doesn’t stand on corners with a sign begging for mortgage money. Get a job, slob. No one wants to support your fat ass. I also don’t buy that sober story, because we live in a small town, and people talk about what they’ve seen. Plus, Jenna is still a huge pothead, and brags about smoking weed.

    4. Merlin’s photograph from many summers ago as a lead in to this self serving and braggadocio post, is so twisted. Merlin was sacrificed to all of Jenna’s delusions of being a farmer/homesteader/writer/whatever. She took on the responsibility of caring for this magnificent beast, taking him from some other genuine horse lover, only to then proceed to neglect him for years and years. Having him put down and his carcass dragged off her “farm” in chains was the final, cruel indignity for Merlin. That she continues to use his photograph to sell her pathetic farm life story is the biggest tell about her character. She is without shame.

  5. She’s never had more than 8k? She is conveniently forgetting when she crowdsourced her book Birchthorn. I think she raised 15k and she was such a lazy asshole about it that even her editor turned on her!
It was probably her plan all along to just take the money and run.
She deserves every bit of bad luck she gets.

Even if you don't think you do, Jenna Woginrich Cold Antler Farm is the real deal, and you will find joy and even probably relate! Plus, it’s pride month 🏳️‍🌈, so a little extra help for someone who unwaveringly shares her life and writing for the benefit of all, can go a long way.

  10. Latest lies. First she tells us she ordered an item from Amazon and in the next breath states that she has no credit card. How does that work darlin'? She really doesn't think before she opens her mouth. She also stated she bought the house without a down payment but (and correct me if I'm wrong) didn't she beg online for that? Before my time but I'm quite sure that's how it went down. Her podcasts are always a treasure trove of untruths, exaggerations and misdirection.

    1. You're right about her begging for down payment money for the house. I could find it, but it would take a lot of searching, and I don't feel like wasting that much time on her.

As far as Amazon, I don't have credit cards either, but I can order with a debit card. That's probably what she meant.

    2. Makes sense. With her poor financial history who in their right mind would issue her a credit card unless she has a secondary card on a parent's account.

    3. From time to time, she's mentioned having a credit card - certainly she had one when Shannon was living with her.

  13. I think substack interactions are tough for Jenna because she gets very specific answers to her questions in a non confrontational manner.

She asks a question ( that we all know is about getting free money) and it seems all the substackers responding are living off dreams and farts. They give love, light, hugs, and atta girl platitudes, but that’s not what Jenna needs.

She needs people to say “what is your venmo?” So she can say “that’s so kind of you, you don’t have to, here’s my venmo!”

Like another Shamster mentioned, she just posts about the same things over and over again. Her essays are boring, her “podcasts” are her lazy way of not writing even though she’s “trying” to be a paid writer. She isn’t producing very much writing on her substack.

It’s uncomfortable watching her circle the drain like this but I’ve been a follower for many years.

Perimenopause is probably kicking in over at cold antler farm and she’s in for a rough ride!

    1. This is what SubStack says about advertising:

      "Marketing and Promotion
Substack is intended for high quality editorial content, not conventional email marketing. We don’t permit publications whose primary purpose is to advertise external products or services, drive traffic to third party sites, distribute offers and promotions, enhance search engine optimization, or similar activities."

IMHO, Wog walks a fine line.

    Ok Jen!🤣

    ReplyDelete
  16. She is so hung up on people with direct deposit when actually, a direct deposit is a deposit of money by a payer directly into a payee's account. Isn't that what Venmo is? She is confusing direct deposit with a salary. She shows her ignorance in so many ways.

  22. Trading eggs for bread. In my mind, not a good trade. Bread is what, flour, yeast and water? she could make it herself for less than what the eggs are worth. Trade the eggs for something of more value or cash so she could pay some bills. She's such a dim-wit.

    2. What does she do with her time besides loafing around the stream? She's not even fishing (cue the fishing shot). After promising 3 posts per week she barely ekes out one poorly written essay and not usually farm related. Oh wait, she doesn't really farm. She needs to change the name of her Substack to My Horse Cuts My Lawn. That's the only shot of an animal we ever see.
