Happy November Everybody (but Jenna)
Autumn is coming in at full force.
It should be a super busy time on the "farm". What has she been doing? We know what she hasn’t been doing. She hasn't been doing any post-summer clean-up around her shack on the hill. She hasn’t been spending time with all the old friends that got tired of her BS…there are a lot. She hasn’t been dating a new girl. And she hasn’t been writing any interesting quality essays. But really, it’s okay…she shouldn’t worry about it, because nobody really cares what she’s doing anyway. Rehome the animals and you can just carry on.
Another indication that she's got some serious issues:
ReplyDelete"Training morning glory vines everywhere in and around my house and you can't stop me"
She's devolving.
DeleteShe's such a rebel *snort*
DeleteIt figures. Morning glories are invasive. Should be pulling them up not planting them. Perfect choice for a poser like Jenna. Unlike her “farm” animals they’ll thrive on neglect.
Deletedarlin' why would anyone want to stop you? What makes you think anyone cares?
DeleteTraining them to grow up and over things is easier than pruning them down and maintaining them. Also good for hiding things you want to cover up.
An all around good-for-the-farm and a money-making activity that is. You go girl!
I wonder how her animals fared with the heat and humidity we have had - and are still having. We live in the same county and it’s been brutal on our farm. We had 2-3 days last week where it was in the high 90’s and very oppressive humidity. We don’t usually see those temps, so it’s a big deal when it happens.
ReplyDeleteI called into work the second day ( I work half at home and half in the office) so I could monitor our cows, pigs, horses and chickens. My dogs normally love to be outside and even they said Nope, I want to go back in.
I just scrolled through her Notes and other than chickens on the kitchen counter, it was June 15 when she last posted anything farm related, and it was a couple of strawberries and some lettuce - nothing animal related. She's back on the TAS bandwagon so I guess the animals are sorely neglected or dead.
DeleteShe never ever takes any proactive action on her property or for her animals. Beyond obsessing about feed and firewood, she doesn't give supplements, upgrade fences or equipment, hell, she claims not to even have hoses. - oh wait, there was that one time she set up "air conditioning" for the pigs. Was it a box fan?
DeleteThose poor critters would either survive or die in the heat with no help from her.
Jenna- shut up and get a job or at the very least, write articles for the PAID subscribers of your suckstack. Spouting off hot takes after you spent all day fishing is annoying. Take care of your animals and get your firewood stacked. Drive yer Subaru buggy to ye old Walmart for provisions.
ReplyDeleteI will commend you for making it through June without a lot of begging. Bills paid then?

I don’t want to hear your thoughts on politics if you can’t name at least 4 supreme court justices off the top of your head.
"That's a bit much Helen" Superb handle. I'm peeing my pants laughing.
DeleteBrava for your new handle!
DeleteAww shucks!
DeleteHer new podcast is up.
ReplyDeleteMy takeaways:
She only “works” until 2
Bought a rainbow lights speaker for her shower
Bought a projector off Amazon
Acts like Stewart’s is a little cozy country bodega
She tries *so hard* to be special.
DeleteYet, she remains a supremely self-centered and below - average individual, one whose fundamental dishonesty, lack of creativity, sloth and overall poor taste will forever put her at the bottom of available dating choices.
She's had ample opportunities to change her behavior... and she hasn't.

I have a question. She mentioned using a ‘milk card’. Being Canadian, I’ve never heard of that and am wondering if it is some sort of government assistance that she let slip.
DeleteOne more question. She said she lived with Shannon for two years. That’s a lie, right? What a stupid thing to lie about.
DeleteEleven Orgasms
DeleteStewart’s has a “milk club card” that you can get punched for every half gallon of milk you purchase. When you fill it up you get a free milk.
Jenna made a point to say she buys “whole milk”.
She’s wound tighter than a. eight day clock.
DeleteEO, she was with Shannon for less than a year as I remember.
DeleteIt was a little over a year S lived with Jenna. They moved into Jenna's house in the spring of 2019, and left in the fall of 2020, so a year and six months or so.
Deletesorry, moved in 2020 and out 2021. got my years mixed up there.
DeleteGood catch, Anon. I knew it was around a year. At the time, SD probably considered VerYork a safer domicile than Boston during the Covid pandemic. Still, she scooted away 'first chance' she had. Since Covid brought them together and SD was her "only" real relationship, someone probably prays daily for another world-wide plague to improve her dating odds.

Okay! It’s on sale for 8 weeks in advance, and the sale only goes when things are dire so get your spot soon!
Darlin’ your logos are always on sale!!!!
This morning she posted 'the seasons first new potatoes'. The problem is she talked about the first potatoes last week when she raved about her perfect breakfast. It's all smoke and mirrors. folks.
ReplyDeleteYup she does this all the time.
ReplyDeleteYikes Jenna!
ReplyDeletePeople are paying you for your writing. When you don’t give them any or put the majority of “essays” for free, no wonder people ask for refunds!
Jenna Woginrich

Folks, if you’re going to unsubscribe and request a refund, please give me a heads up if it’s an annual fee or higher? That comes out of my bank account, and I’m barely remaining housed here until things get better.

Sure Wog, tell us about impulse Amazon purchases. It’s a specialty of yours.

Jenna has said on multiple occasions that she doesn't have health insurance because she can't afford it. Bonus is that she earned too much money to qualify for discounts, so she elected not to purchase insurance..
DeleteSo, which is it? Does she have health insurance, or not? Does she qualify for discounts or not? She's repeatedly said she's "broke" not poor.
You know, this would go away if she got a job!
But, yet again, she plays the victim.
Her brain is addled from all the weed. She can’t keep her lies straight and ends up looking even more like a liar than usual.

My biggest pet peeve as a writer is people not listening to lyrics and just deciding what the song means to them. Singer songwriters are memoirists. They’re autobiography/social commentary. It’s literally why the song exists. You don’t pick up an autobiography of Anne Frank and decide it’s about a cozy staycation. LYRICS MATTER
Her hubris knows no bounds. She’s gone beyond TAS and appointed herself the Music Nazi (to expand on the Anne Frank reference). Music is intrinsically ‘what the song means to them’. It’s what makes music a universal language. She’s categorically dismissing tone, tempo, volume, harmony etc. Some music is all about the beat and dance-ability. Of course lyrics play a part in pop music but she insists on applying her narrow world view on anyone who dares interpreting lyrics from an alternate perspective.
DeleteOf course, Jenna acts like a judgemental music critic. She's done the same with all of her past fake personas; everyobe else was required to live life, do things *her* way. No wonder she's alone.
ReplyDeleteHer batshit emphasis on the importance of lyrics reminded me of the story going around Reddit a week ago - about a young, disturbed man (Curt Claudio) who felt John Lennon's lyrics & songs had special meaning and spoke to him. Here's the story:
"Curt Claudio was a 23 year old American fan who travelled all the way to Tittenhurst to meet his hero, John Lennon, in the summer of 1971.
John: " So last week he turned up at my house... He thought the whole thing (song) was about him and I said, ‘No, it’s about me.’ It might strike a corresponding chord in your experience because we all have similar experiences but it’s basically about me... "
"It’s just a record. It might mean more to me or you than somebody else. It’s still just songs. It’s poetry... I just write it like anybody writes anything. Either from my own experience or out of my own head... don’t confuse the songs with your own life. They might have relevance to your own life, but a lot of things do. So we met, you know, I am just a guy, man, who writes songs... just having fun with words."
" I mean, Dylan does that. Anybody does it. You just take words and you stick them together and it’s like throwing the I Ching or something. You just see what happens. You take a bunch of words, you throw them out and see if they have any meaning. Some of them do, some of them don’t. But it’s not universally significant or anything... I am singing about me and my life and if it’s relevant for other people’s lives, that’s alright."
Like John said, They're just songs, Jenna, just lyrics.

You hit it on the head, Legend. It's like the way she relates Swift's music to her own sexuality. It's apples and oranges depending on your own life experience. Struggling to stay housed ( as she tells us every chance she gets), but has funds to buy personalized engraved metal plaques to put around her home improvements? This HAS to be a joke. This cannot be real. She’s trolling for attention, right?

I’ve started putting up little dedication plaques beside any home improvement project a friend helped me achieve. This one is by my new kitchen faucet ✨
this is funny, it's the second time I've heard of someone buying a plaque to dedicate part of their home to a friend who helped them. Is that mentioned in a self help book somewhere? It's weird because the other person I'm speaking of is one I've mentioned who reminds me a lot of Jenna in many ways. Always running scams. She recently scammed nearly 50K of rent-free living and furniture from "friends" ie people she manipulated into feeling sorry for her and then took advantage of them. She was on a radio show last week saying she thinks about putting up little artist plaques for each thing around her house a friend gave to her / did for her. I wonder if Jenna heard it? It would surprise me if she listened to CBC.

I will! I waited until I had a gift certificate to order this, it’s kind of a silly purchase, but as I have the funds I want to install one for my bathroom floor, basement rafters, and other repair projects!
“Kind of” a silly purchase?
DeleteNope it IS a Full on silly purchase.
Hard for me to believe that with a gift card she could find anything else that would be helpful to someone with no “money”. A pack of socks? Toiletries, animal food?
Nope she buys a plaque for the sink to honor her friend who runs caer luna. Good choice.
Anyone sending her funds is duuuummmmb.
What is the cost of those engraved plaques????? $$$$
ReplyDeleteOn Amazon, the same plaque is $14.99. Maybe that was the delivery that the burly man got scared of her geese!???
DeleteOh Jenna! Never change. Buying shit from Amazon while complaining about capitalism and the oligarchy.
Canada Jenna. A move should be
ReplyDeleteShe's not happy with America or our health care. Go north Jenna. Canada would be more your style. You don't need to stay here.
DeleteDon't send her to us. Plus to receive health care as a non citizen she would need a work permit and we all know she refuses to work.
DeleteLol, Jenna would not be accepted to our country. You can't just come to Canada because you want to. You have to have an in-demand profession, or qualify in some other way.
Deletefor anyone interested, canada is streamlining entry for nurses, health care aides, and physicians! Any of y'all want to come to, say, beautiful british columbia, your license can be verified and you can be ready to work in weeks for a few hundred bucks!

I understand but are all these people maxing out credit cards?! Do people put vacations on credit? How could you enjoy a vacation on credit?! (I don’t use credit cards and never have really so I don’t know anything about them)
her reply is so unhinged. It's none of her goddamn business what people do with their money, how they prioritize, how they pay. F off Jenna.
DeleteShe's seriously tone deaf. When things become uncertain, people prioritize.
DeleteI know Substack and streaming subscriptions will be the first things to go if/when I need to start cutting back on unnecessary spending, and I'm thankful that I don't have to make that choice...yet.
It has nothing to do with credit cards and everything to do with making necessary spending choices and cutting back. But of course it's all about her.
Oh, so the time she wrote that she "paid off" her credit card was utter horse crap???
Deleteyou can delete your profile to unsubscribe from all your substack subscriptions at once and it'll produce this "renewal failure" notification. It's likely people mass deleting their profiles to unsub from everything at once if they're not getting interesting content (cough cough) or can't keep up with their subscriptions.
DeleteI have a couple of substack and patreon subscriptions that are consistently productive and sometimes I fall behind in reading, and if I haven't read them in a while I don't renew the subscription.
She's also converted basically everyone she can from the free social sites to her substack. she doesn't promote her substack anywhere anymore, so how is she going to get new subscribers to replace the old ones?
DeleteI do think a loss of 20 subscribers in one month is a number I'm suspicious of.
She also hasn't been as productive as promised. I know, shocking...right?
DeleteWhen she started her latest Substack money grab, she promised at least three essays per week of her 'best writing' ever 😄
Instead, she delivered rehashes of earlier posts, reposts, and clearly slapped-together thoughts on the same tired tropes. Nothing new and certainly nothing worth the equivalent of a subscription to Mother Jones, The Atlantic, Mother Earth or any other 'on sale' publication.
As further insult to her readers, she didn’t adhere to her posting schedule. Most recently, she's "committed" to five essays per month, a big drop from her earlier promise of 12 essays per month.
She does the minimum and expects the maximum from others.
PDD
I enjoy vacations on the credit card just fine, thanks Jenna!
ReplyDeleteA credit card is the safer option when travelling. Refunds for flight screw ups, etc. can be managed more efficiently. She’s clueless. Unlike Wog, regular people pay their debts including (and especially) credit cards.

So much for swearing off Amazon. That didn't last long. What a complete hypocrite she is. She may not have the functioning brain cells to recall what she has written but we sure do.
DeleteShe feels she has to justify her purchases. Her readers should call her out.
DeleteJenna needs to stop using the notes part of Substack so much. She probably thinks since she posts/reposts things on notes, that it counts towards her writing quota promise. Those 20 people who unsubscribed would beg to differ.
ReplyDeleteAgree. She could use the time and effort to produce more than one essay per week like she originally promised.
DeleteJenna just dropped this in her notes.

Pyometra, which is a fast-acting, deadly infection that can happen in the uterus of older, intact female dogs (and humans).
I didn’t know anything about it until Friday started showing the signs weds night. Ended up at a local vet first thing yesterday morning, and thanks to about 13-jillion puzzle pieces falling perfectly into place, two amazing best friends, and a local surgeon having an opening at 1pm in another clinic 45-min from home: she was accepted for an emergency spay and they were able to remove her uterus and THE ENTIRE INFECTION before it went septic! We got it out in time and didn’t have to go to an emergency vet, (which would have been like 8 thousand dollars or something impossible) - yesterday cost a standard spay fee and I can’t believe how lucky we were.
Saving her life was the best birthday I ever had. I can’t wait to share the story soon!
Only Jenna would look at this situation as "saving her life". She should be ashamed that she didn't spay Friday in the first place. Jenna caused this to happen.
ReplyDeleteShe is a special kind of asshole to spin her negligence into being the hero.
Yeah. I was a little shocked her dog wasn’t spayed, but Jenna hasn’t ever showed a lot of empathy For animals.
DeleteOver and over again, Jenna has experiences that scream “get a job!” But she ignores it because she’s a farmer but actually a writer?
Regardless, having a reliable income is vital, especially since she loves to say there’s no plan B. I think substack is her people because no one is going to call her out and say “get a job”. Everyone that responds seems to believe that billionaires should be paying for her to lay around in her hammock.
Am I the only who who finds it odd that there is no picture of the dog in this narrative? That's not suspicious at all ....
Deleteyeah unless we see photos of Friday in recovery, this could easily be fiction.
Deletethough it doesn't surprise me Jenna would purchase a $1000 stock dog and wouldn't spend $200 to get her spayed.
So she's been going into heat this whole time, supposedly?
I don't exactly buy that. Managing a dog in heat is messy and requires vigilance. Jenna has not once mentioned her being in heat.
This is the time of year she has convenient emergencies to fund whatever concert she wants to attend. I think it's more likely this vet emergency arose when whines about losing subscribers didn't get her any new "founding members"
Yes, Friday has been in heat and I believe, was living with an un-neutered male (Gibson) for years. I never felt that was fair to either dog.

I want the 10 people that chose to take me up on my email offer and support this farm to know how grateful I am. It could not have come at a better time (vet surgery bills and winter farm prep happening at the same time). I will write in a way you know exactly how much I appreciate you. Life savers and hope givers, you lot.
Welcome to the farm!
I’ve been aware of Jenna since the beginning or close to it and I remember her dealing with a dog that wasn’t spade. Seems like Gibson was the other dog and dealing with Friday in heat was just another one of her stupid, pointless decisions.
ReplyDeleteOops Anon 7:51. I wrote something similar to you but I had not read yours before I wrote. I agree with you.
DeleteNo problem. Thought I was right, but still second guessing. Of course, we think she couldn’t afford the surgery. Why wouldn’t we?
DeleteShe's like the arsonist who set fire to a stable, and then wanted to be rewarded for helping put out the fire. (true story)

Only Jenna could turn her dog’s medical emergency into an ABC afterschool special!
ReplyDeleteBest friends busting down the door of the vets office, lunch at a roadside cafe, canceled fishing trip on a vintage canoe, lots of lucky circumstances.
Shucks, the hi jinx of that trio while poor pup was suffering. Fun!
I'd like to know what reputable vet does major surgery at 1 pm, then releases the animal at 6 pm the same day? I've had all my dogs and cats spayed (and neutered) and spays are an overnight stay. It's major surgery for an animal, and for a 10 year old dog? Yeah, the facts aren't facting.
DeleteAgree. And why is the dog not wearing a cone to prevent her chewing at the incision which according to Wog has ripped apart and is weeping. I hope she washes her hands when she touches it. I've never had an animal sent home without the cone.
DeleteI hope Friday recovers safely and quickly.
DeletePDD
We share the same vet, so some of this ridiculous story tracks: the office would have been very proactive, and I can picture Patty knowing where Jenna might be given the circumstances. And Friday appears to be wearing a LickSleeve instead of the cone of shame, which I’ve used after my dog’s surgeries. But no responsible surgeon would release a pet at 6 pm after an afternoon surgery, when the animal is still recovering from anesthesia. The only thing I can think of is that Jenna signed a release form to bring Friday home early so she didn’t have to pay for the overnight care, which is expensive. And now Jenna says that the incision is “weeping” and she’s concerned, and she should be. I’m sure it’s hot as hell in that filthy house of hers and that poor dog is likely to develop an infection. Ugh!
DeleteHi all - I found out about this blog today as a long time fan of Jenna (completely on accident, I was looking for her website) and I am so crushed. I’ve bought her soaps, shared her artwork on my Instagram, and fully believed in her as a farmer going through a rough patch. But the rough patches just went on, and on… this blog confirms my assumptions that she has been lying about aspects of her life to make them appear more marketable. I felt constantly guilt tripped for having a job (granted it didn’t work on me but how insulting).
ReplyDeleteMy last straw was her announcing to the world that her best friend and beloved dog was going to die because SHE didn’t get her fixed. You spare a couple hundred and some time out of your day to ensure her safety and you couldn’t be screwed to do that.
I want to thank those for sharing their experiences with her to warn others and she won’t be getting a single cent more from me and has been blocked. It’s surreal to see someone you talked in community with have so many skeletons in the closet. As a local (ish) to her myself, I’m pretty crushed. She was strangely nasty and short with me and it was in stark contract of her upbeat “hey travelers!” Which was so weird. I’m strangely glad to see it wasn’t personal.
I appreciate this community, I hope more people are made aware, and I hope she has a wake up call.

DeleteThank you all for your sympathies. I feel udderly foolish for thinking her stories were genuine. Being LGBT myself, I was so ready to believe the “trolls” were nasty, homophobic stalkers. Genuine criticism is not trolling and I’m embarrassed I took her word as truth. As someone who also struggled with bulimia, I really felt like her story spoke to me at times. Hell, I am not a farmer either, so when she paints her days as busy doing farm work but theres mountains of proof here of literally nothing being done (animals neglected, orders not being fulfilled, and the property in shambles) that was also jarring. I can absolutely tell you all from my own experience that she does not care about the local community or even fellow LGBT people. It’s all performance. I don’t know how that wasn’t the last straw for me. I guess I’m just surprised at how deep this went. I feel terrible for any locals she’s treated poorly. I am positive none of you deserved that. 8D

Anonymous 6:07. Sorry to hear about your poor treatment by this bitch. You’re far from being the only one who believed her bullshit liife of lies. Jenna has been doing this for decades now:
Anonymous 6:07. Have you had the displeasure of meeting Jenna in person? I thought that since you were “local(ish)” that maybe your paths had crossed before. We’ve heard of her as acting “strangely short and nasty” with neighbors, and even strangers who made the mistake of giving her money.
DeleteThankfully, I have not met her in person. I fully believe you when you say she was short and nasty to people because that’s how she treated me in all of our communications. I’m nervous to tell my experience with her because I’m afraid she’ll figure out who I am and sick a mob of followers on me. Perhaps when more time passes and she forgets about me I’ll share. I don’t mean to hang that over folks head like meat - just explaining why I unfortunately have to be intentionally vague. BD
DeleteAnonymous 12:40. Thanks for your reply to my question. No worries about being too concerned to share the dirty details now. As you’ll soon see, on this site, there’s a whole community here of those who have dealt with Wog for years. I’m glad that you’ve finally found us!
DeleteI'm really sorry you were scammed too, I also gave her money in the past and was successfully duped. You're far from alone, she's been doing this for DECADES. Even before she had her property, she was selling bespoke art online and would not deliver art after it was paid for.
DeleteI've checked in over the years and was amazed to see how this trainwreck goes on and on. Having been though significant hardship myself, I know that you can't perpetually be late on your mortgage. You just simply can't do that, they'll take your house.
Jenna's actions don't line up with the lived reality of someone who is actually in danger of losing everything. It's more like a teenager throwing a tantrum about not having something they didn't earn.
Instead, Jenna's actions line up with someone scamming for fun money. She will have a crisis, get donations, then a week or two later be at a concert, or have new taylor swift merch. If anyone comments she snaps back about how others shouldn't comment on how she spends money.
If your heart can take it I encourage you to stay with us and follow this along. It helps when it's not just a few hardcore critics here, but a variety of people who make comments that are measured and rational. It shows others we're not just "haters" but have just paid attention long enough to call bull.
If you want to see screenshots of some of her contradictions, they're posted in the "cold antler critics" reddit group, where there is also a dental tracker, a hay burn tracker, and a late mortgage payment tracker.
If what happened to Friday is true, and it seems it is, friday is the latest in a long line of animals that have been neglected nearly or fully to death.
DeleteHer old blog had a story about how a popular ewe from her books died in a wheelbarrow without vet care. There was a cat she didn't vet, and animal control was called on her over the conditions she kept her animals in on the rental property she had before she bought her own place.
Her gorgeous horse Merlin was losing condition for years and was not given additional shelter, blanketing, or even extra feed to try and keep the weight on. He didn't get the supplements his breed needs as they age. She started exaggerating his age so people wouldn't think he was put to sleep so young.
I predicted that Gibson's "limp" she mentioned would be neglected until she suddenly "had to" put him down after he "couldn't get up" even though canine arthritis is EASY and CHEAP to manage. My cattle dog started to show signs of stiffness at 8 years old, and once on the meds she was like a puppy again, didn't show any pain until the day she died of a stroke.
There are photos in the reddit group showing the levels of fencing gradually disappearing over time into the "ground" when it's really just feet of manure piling up. She was required by animal control to have a bobcat in there to clear out years of muck and the darn thing got stuck.
A lot of these stories are screen shot and archived on the wayback machine, or in the reddit group for searchability, because it seems Jenna's going to keep up the scamming for years to come.
Oh and Anon 5:31 - I think Jenna picked up on queer folks having a higher incidence of addiction and disordered eating after reading glennon doyle's book and then manufactured a persona to target "late in life" lesbians, even spamming her content into those specific reddit groups. You were drawn in because she's actually a decently successful scammer.
But now you know.
Oh, have you seen "xena worrier princess" on instagram? She has these choose your own adventure zines for queer people which are so funny and there's a character in the latest one that reminds me a LOT of Jenna. I reached out and the authour said she didn't base that character on Jenna but a different lesbian scammer farmer (there are more out there) but she was VERY AWARE of the Woginrich lore.
I highly recommend supporting xena worrier princess' work and substack :)
Anon 5:31 - I think we have at least 6 or 7 LGBTQ+ contributors here. We did a role call a while back and more have joined since. She's scamming our own community and karma's gonna get her.
Delete*roll call not role
DeleteThank you all again for your words of kindness, encouragement, and for sharing these truths with me about her actions. I could cry about these animals, I loved hearing about Merlin and I am in shock he was so neglected. I’m not familiar with horse health so I was literally clueless. I don’t know what else to say. God bless you guys trying to get the animals help with welfare checks and documenting this scamming behavior. I am checking out the Reddit and the rest of these posts. I’m along for the ride, boy howdy or whatever the fuck she says. BD
DeleteBD. Karma is going to slap the smug smirk off her fake fat face someday. And it will be well worth the wait to witness it. “Boy, howdy!!!”
DeleteShe counts on people being “clueless” about animals. Which is why Wog has been able to fool so many people over the years. She uses pet props for pics to appear authentic. Including, her hawks.
DeleteYeah, poor Merlin. There are several horse people here who could see what was happening. He lost muscle mass steadily over the past three years. This is common for fell ponies, they need supplements and senior feed to keep weight on as they age. They also need to be kept in steady work. As much as some horses would like to be pasture puffs, like humans being couch potatoes, it's not good for them especially as they get older. Seniors of any species that don't move regularly experience rapid muscle loss and it gets to be hard to put that back on, so prevention is really key.
DeleteMerlin should have been fed properly, and he should have been in ground work at least every other day if not 5 days a week for 30-60 minutes. It's like walking a dog. It's not hard. You put them through their paces, over trot poles, it keeps them easy to handle and keeps them carrying themselves correctly. It's physiotherapy.
He should have been blanketed and offered proper shelter in winter. When he started having trouble keeping weight on, he should have been blanketed immediately and consistently to prevent excess calories from being burned trying to keep warm. They don't have a full winter shelter, they have a three sided run in, BUT Jenna was given the materials and the money for a proper four sided outdoor shed for the horses a DECADE ago. A warm barn with bedding and food out of the elements is what Merlin deserved.
Thing is, Jenna is not a horse person. There is a poster here who knew Jenna in college who reported Jenna had been banned from riding the college horses because she could not take coaching on her riding technique and it was cruel to the horses to allow her to continue. Jenna never wrote about that herself, but it's interesting gossip.
Jenna did write about taking riding lessons for less than a year when she first got Merlin - or was it Jasper? Anyway, she didn't keep up on her lessons. It's insane to me to own a horse and all you've done to learn about their husbandry is take some months of riding lessons and that's it. She likely didn't even know how to work her horses from the ground. She tried to hook them up to harness a few times and failed miserably, with Merlin's behaviour being described as rebellious, when he was likely used to more competent handling and was bucking because Jenna's poor technique could have caused pain... which is why she was (supposedly) banned from riding horses at school.
Let's also not forget that early on, Jenna deliberately stopped feeding Merlin adequate horse grain because she wanted him kept low-energy and compliant. Her stories of "training" him (their battle of wills, as she put it) were horrific to someone who actually understands proper techniques. I know - I'm a well-experienced horse owner, whose horses have excelled in multiple disciplines.
DeleteFor a long time, it's been obvious that she took inadequate care of her horses, especially as they aged. Horses need yearly dental care, wellness care, good feed supplements and (often) medication for arthritis or other conditions. Her ignorance and hubris were such that she actually stopped Mabel's arthritis medication, despite agreement with the prior owner that she would continue. So, yeah, Mabel (like Merlin) very likely lived painful lives, especially during bitterly-cold upstate New York winters.
She's a disgrace to the horse community. I do hope karma is real and that she's treated in the same manner.
I’ve said this before, but it bears repeating. Her horses are simply, status symbols of an affluent lifestyle that’s always been beyond Jenna’s meager means to maintain.
DeleteBP. Jenna will never have “a wake up call,” because she’s become a beggar by choice.
DeleteThank you all for detailing her animal abuse with the horses. I’m not familiar with their health needs so I was completely clueless, so I appreciate you taking the time to educate me. I will continue to read more about this on the blog. Animals are not aesthetics, they are living creatures with needs (often expensive!) and there is no shame in admitting you cannot have one or cannot keep one anymore.
DeleteI always thought it was really weird that she let her horses roam around her house on the front yard grass as a lawnmower as she put it. She’s right by a road and that never felt safe to me. I know horses can spook easy, plus all of their droppings? I can’t fathom that smells great right outside your door.
I also found it strange that she has larger pray animals (sheep, goats, pigs) that live in turnout (I think that’s the right word?) but never had a live stock gardian dog. Her collies can herd them (which btw, I’ve never heard of her claiming they can do) but to have a dog sit out there with them seemed really important. At least from other farmers I follow.
I am younger than her and am very eager to learn in general. I respect I am not an authority on these topics. I had no reason to believe that this was wrong, but something in me still felt her situation was. Always trust your gut is the lesson here! BD
BP. Here’s another blast from the past that shows Jenna’s animal abusing.
Deletehttps://highstfarm.blogspot.com/2015/09/jenna-sadistic-animal-abuser-woginrich.html
I literally can’t believe she’s been using the same “this farm needs a miracle” for a DECADE. And she’s giving her animals alcohol?? BD
DeleteBP. We agree that it’s unbelievable. Nothing has changed with Wog in over a decade of having her hovel. The real “miracle” would be if Jenna got a job, and stopped being a beggar. But she seems to be incapable of making mature choices and changes. It’s really pathological at this point.
DeleteHer approach to prey animals is to buy extras so the predators don't get them all. She estimated on her old blog that her chicken mortality rate to weasels / fox / freezing weather was 50%, so she orders double the chicks than she actually needs by the end of their six week grow out cycle.
DeleteWe wonder if Wog has heard of the poet Andrea Gibson who just died of cancer. Talk about being a real writer unlike Jenna. She even had a lovely wife.
ReplyDeletehttps://andreagibson.org/
And Andrea was also an authentic person. Jenna is totally fake in all aspects of her lie-style.
DeleteApparently, Andrea was also friends with Glennon Doyle. As evidenced by the touching tribute on her Instagram account. Shamsters might recall how Jenna bludgeoned GD several years ago to read Wog’s “new memoir!” She was obnoxious in her stupid tweets, and wouldn’t stop pestering GD for months. I’m sure that GD both blocked and muted her.
Deletehttps://www.instagram.com/p/DDhkYNhuZGz/?hl=en
Andrea’s Substack has over 109,000 fervent followers. As opposed to Jenna’s measly amount of approximately 3,000. Even after a year. “Hoo!!!”
DeleteJenna only wants to worship mainstream musicians like Taylor Swift. Who happens to be a “pretty brunette femme.” She’s disinterested in androgynous people. It also sounds like Andrea was admired not abhorred. The way that Wog is by many.
DeleteI think that she shouldn't be so concerned about her oath to her houseplants, and instead, take an oath to her animals. Especially after what she let her dog go through. Priorities, darlin'.
ReplyDeleteIt’s because she’s an animal abusing asshole.
Delete"I asked the surgeon if she was married, I was ready to propose. No woman had ever made me that happy"
ReplyDeleteShe is so gross and cringe. I really hope that was fiction and she didn't actually say that. She sounds like a dirty old man. Jenna, no one wants to hear that, esp from you.
There are so many things she says that if a man did that, they’d be incredibly creepy! I wouldn’t be surprised if she made local women uncomfortable. Not because she’s LGBT (I am too) but because of how she speaks to them.
DeleteAs if anyone normal would want a relationship with Wog. Let alone a surgeon. Jenna is a sleazy, sexual predator. She’s been making creepy comments for years about and to women. We’ve even watched her leer at much younger ladies around town during the summer.
DeleteAgreed, so awkward. Although, I have no doubt Jenna has fantasized about having a vet for a partner.
DeleteVet bills paid anonymously.
ReplyDeleteAs someone who has paid in full for vet care ( emergency and otherwise plus monthly prescriptions ) for her entire adult life for each and every pet ( I’m in my 50’s!) if someone wants to pay anonymously for one of my vet bills…. Please do! 🤣.
DeleteJenna claimed that someone stupid paid for her vet bill anonymously? The same thing has happened before with truck repairs years ago. What a con cunt.
DeleteAccording to her Substack, someone paid the bill anonymously. This was 2 days ago. Now, 1 day ago, she's offering a "sale" on 9x12 drawings to help pay Friday's medical bills. Which is it? She lies more than our government!
DeleteAnonymous 9:49. Thanks for answering my question above. I think that Jenna lied about the bill being paid. She’s done this kind of crap before, as part of her manipulative marketing to elicit empathy for funds. Otherwise, why even mention it?
DeleteMy understanding is that someone covered the vet bill for Friday’s Monday appointment but not the actual surgery? There is no way the doctor did that without having funds up front.
DeletePatty and Becca were at her side through all this so pretty sure one or both helped out.
DeleteJenna is 43 now, and middle-aged. Yet she’s the damsel in distress who still needs to be rescued by Pember Patty and Brainless Becca.
Deletehttps://coldantlerfarm.substack.com/p/a-little-more-time-72e
Anonymous 11:45. Exactly. We both left our comments at the same time.
DeleteThe stupid drama queen always makes everything about herself.
DeleteI hate her hyperbolic, weird way of writing. It’s so overly dramatic, and she comes across as acting.
DeleteI really hope it isn't Becca, but it makes sense that she'd wait to take Friday to the vet until Becca visited to display this big crisis / drama and emotionally extort some financial support.
DeleteWhen S broke up with Jenna Patty "financed" a car for Jenna... which jenna totaled hitting a deer, and likely stopped paying Patty back, and it seems Patty took some distance from Jenna for like a year or so after that.
It's so odd how Patty and Jenna just seem to keep coming back together. Does Patty use Jenna for anything? Because Patty has that scamming of public funds history so it makes sense they'd tolerate each other's scammier sides, but a scammer wouldn't put up with Jenna unless she also was getting something.
Given that Becca is a public servant (teacher) I would bet she just has a good heart and hasn't seen through Jenna's dishonesty yet.
So yeah, my bet is Becca anon paid for the vet appointment. Becca has given Jenna food before too, she and her wife do seem to treat jenna like the pan handler she is, but don't give her cash directly, they give her the things they perceive she needs.
The problem with that is it encourages Jenna to generate a "need" which is why she would have waited until Becca visited to decide Friday was in crisis.
Anonymous 5:25. Unfortunately, Becca is an enabler, just like Patty has been for years. I think that Jenna is their pity project.
DeleteThis whole episode which she has dramatized to the max, makes me wonder if she would have bothered taking Friday to the vet if Becca wasn't there to encourage her to do the right thing and likely throw a few bucks her way.
ReplyDeleteThat is an excellent point. I believe Becca saved Friday’s life, not “my dog hasn’t eaten for three days ” Jenna
Delete"The best friday has felt in weeks!"
ReplyDeleteWEEKS? Your dog was visibly sick for WEEKS and you didn't do shit about it until you had friends available to involve in the drama at which point SUDDENLY it's an emergency???
In case there are any doubts about Jenna being an animal neglecter and abuser, Friday is the latest sad sad case.
DeleteI don’t think Jenna takes any better care of herself than she takes care of her animals. Her day will come and as a healthy 80 year old I may just be around to witness it. She makes me sick. I’m embarrassed to think that I find considerable satisfaction in this. It makes me furious that she can use social media to beg, scam, and promote herself as somebody worthy of respect.
DeleteYou’re all right. Jenna is despicable on every level.
DeleteI agree with 5:59, truer words never spoken.
ReplyDeleteWe also agree. Jenna deserves every bit of misfortune that’s heading her way.
DeleteJust read her latest offering (does she ever write behind a paywall?) If I was a subscriber I'd be ticked off that she's giving it away free of charge. Not that this one was worth the price of admission. IMO it's her worst yet. There is no continuity whatsoever ... just a bunch of her favourite buzzwords thrown onto the page "magic, archetypes, fear, isolation" She even threw "empathy" into the mix more than once which is interesting since she clearly has none. My guess is she was high as a kite when she wrote it. It's that disjointed. She noted that no audio was possible. What's that all about? I'm sure we will hear the reason soon enough. Likely another sob story.
ReplyDeleteHer writing is rotten. We wouldn’t read it for free.
DeleteAs if anyone would want to hear her arrogant, abrasive voice. Jenna is a terrible narrator.
DeleteShe is very addicted, horrible as the animals depend on her. Dispictable
ReplyDeleteShe’s one of the most repellent people we’ve ever met in person. It’s no wonder why locals loathe her, and that Jenna is still single. Even after years of desperately trying to get a date.
DeleteShe has the nerve to post a picture of a library book? Has anyone else been around long enough to remember when a fan of hers said she had borrowed one of Jenna's books from the library and Jenna ripped into her because she didn't BUY the book? She's such a POS.
ReplyDeleteyes 5:02, I do recall that exchange, Jenna waaas furious.
ReplyDeleteI also recall her stupid rant about library books. Jenna is a huge hypocrite.
Deletewas not waaas
ReplyDeleteYES!!! Absolutely true!
DeleteApparently Friday almost died again. Country vet to the rescue.
ReplyDeleteBack to begging.

If you are in any need of a logo design or pet portrait, please send me a message! You hiring me (for artwork, design, pork, lamb, etc) is my only source of income and vet bills/costs have never been worse here. Thrilled to accept any offer!
An eight year old would know this is a lie. Has she given up on Substack? Refunded money to subscribers? If you’re a subscriber please explain what your revered “farmer” means by this.
DeleteShe’s a pathological liar. Jenna has claimed multiple times for years that things “ have never been worse here.” What a con cunt.
DeleteDisgusting that she is using her dogs infected incision as a means to garner sympathy and money! Gross!!
ReplyDeleteInfections happen but I’m genuinely confused how Friday got infected. She had a major surgery and Jenna’s sole job is to keep any incisions clean. The dog should have that area cleaned and covered constantly especially after she goes outside. Don’t dogs also take antibiotics? I may be ignorant but she’s a domestic animal with medicine and a post-opp plan. I don’t know how this happened.
DeleteI’ve said it before and I’ll say it again - I wholeheartedly regret giving CAF money and support. What I thought was a farmer down on luck, doing everything in their power to make it, is a con artist refusing to do the absolute bare minimum to provider for herself and her animals. Her begging for money to get her dog care with absolutely no plan to create long term stability for her income is abhorrent. What’s her plan? Beg every single month for money forever? Why is she not selling her produce, attending networking opportunities like farmers markets, doing a side trade like lawn care for her rural neighbors, etc? I fully believe that she can’t leave large prey animals unattended for a long time but there are still freelance ways that are hour-flexible to make a living. Poverty is hard to pull yourself out of, but this is purely, intentional, self-sabotage.
DeleteThere is absolutely nothing wrong with asking for help from community and loved ones when times are tough. I’ve been there myself, and worked hard to get out. If I had someone cover a vet bill for my beloved animal, I would work twice as hard to make sure that doesn’t happen again. Her inability to stabilize income for not just herself but her animals is mind blowing. She has no shame.
Was there any mention of the vets name? We live in the area and if the vet is who I think it is, I would not be surprised if Friday was ill. There was mention of someone asking what vet would have a same day surgery appointment with no background on the dog AND send her home within hours. That said, our last spayed dog did come home the same day but she was also at the vet in the AM and picked up end of day so she could be watched for several hours.
DeleteJenna, we know that you read here. Please post pics as proof of the infection, because I think that it’s a crock of crap. It’s more manipulative marketing to elicit empathy for funds.
DeleteAnonymous 7:27. BP. As I’ve said before, you’re far from being the only kind person who has fell victim to her con. She’s a shameless, sociopathic scammer, animal abuser, and sexual predator. Her “abhorrent” behavior will be Wog’s downfall.
ReplyDeleteEdit: fallen victim not “fell”
DeleteAnd Jenna plays at being poor. It’s all an act, and part of her con. Her fake fear of foreclosure has never come true, because she has hidden sources of income.
DeleteWTH is going on in that house of horrors!

And I’m back at the vet again. Worst week of pet ownership in my life
Maybe dumbass should’ve spent the money to spay Friday years ago. But she’s always bragged about “not having a plan b!”
Delete“Sure, Jen.” This is called the consequences of not accepting any adult accountability for her actions. She doesn’t deserve to “own” any animals.
DeleteIf Friday also dies due to her negligence, then she can join the sad ranks along with Gibson, Merlin etc. Jenna will just do a begathon for puppy money. Like she’s done before.

Jenna- leave the cone on!!!
We’ve used her vet before. They’re probably appalled by Jenna’s crappy care. I still don’t understand why Wog didn’t breed the two dogs. Otherwise, what’s the point of not spaying and neutering them? As usual, her stupid decision made no sense. It would’ve been an easy way to make money. We have friends whose litters have earned them thousands of dollars.
DeleteThank goodness she didn't think of breeding the dog. She would have turned her hovel into a puppy mill and Friday would have been bred to death.

Home from the vet. Had to have an incision redo, stitches redone, body wall rebuilt, and antibiotics so the wound could close and heal. She now has a drainage tube. That’s a first. Keeps us in your prayers/roll 20s this is the last surgery 🖤
Poor friday. Was she on pain meds? Did Jenna leave the cone on and restrict her activities correctly? I suspect not, poor girl. How awful.
DeleteAnother big reason to have a dog spayed if you don't intend to breed is if you do it later in life it's such a major surgery with a brutal recovery. It's a simple surgery with a fast recovery if you get the uterus, tubes and ovaries out before or shortly after the onset of puberty, and a young dog recovers so much faster than an older dog.
It's honestly surprising poor friday is still alive.
Jenna’s subtext is always “Feel sorry for me, and send more money. You just can’t know!!!”
DeleteShe’s still clueless about taking care of any animals. Even after “owning” them for decades.
DeleteIt’s to prevent all the above that poor Friday is suffering through that animals are kept overnight for proper care and observation. If what she posted is true, Friday had to go through a second surgery because the first one was compromised by Jenna’s lack of attention in a filthy home. Friday, like every animal this woman owns, is nothing more than a prop to use for attention and begging purposes, just like Gibson, Mabel, and poor Merlin. I don’t have a good feeling about Friday’s chances at recovery, mainly because the person in charge of ensuring that recovery seems to care so little. I don’t think she’d have even been taken to the vet in the first instance unless that friend had happened to be visiting, and Jenna had been embarrassed into doing the right thing. Poor Friday, I hope she’s at least getting her pain meds.
DeleteAnonymous 1:09. I agree. If Jenna had spayed Friday years ago, then this crap probably wouldn’t have happened. She’s wound up costing herself more vet bills, and the poor dog is suffering, all because of this unnecessary negligence. And cheapness, when it comes to taking care of her canines.
DeleteStill trying to figure out the BS. On July 14, in the comment section of her drama, she said Friday was getting staples that afternoon. STAPLES. So what happened? Was Friday allowed to chew on the staples? Did laying on that filthy floor cause the STAPLED wound to get infected? So now she's getting re-stitched after the staples? She's too high to remember from one lie to the next.
DeleteJenna Woginrich
DeleteJul 14
She’s getting staples this afternoon 🤞
She’s a blatant liar. Jenna needs her big mouth to be “stapled” shut.
Deletelatest post is set for "founding members only" - she's using friday's crisis to try and upgrade her current subscribers. It's $345 / year.
ReplyDeleteThat's insane, given how little she produces. That's about what a "share" or her pork costs. I bet that's her new scam now.
Crises manufactured, updates are for founding members only.
It’s just an excuse for a yet another fabricated crisis. Rather than just get a job. So much for her stupid statement last year “I’m going to start a savings account for emergencies!”
DeleteEdit: for yet a
DeleteThis could also backfire on her too. Regular paying members are interested in how Friday is doing. Those that pay their money every month may think that an update for founding members only is very unfair. Anyone who donated to Friday's care may also think that way. She very well could lose even more members. That $8 a month could go towards better things like rent and food.
ReplyDeleteAgree! Very bad taste to only let the “founding” members know what’s going on. She’s using dog’s pain for a cash grab, which is gross. She can’t keep her mouth shut so I’m sure that she’ll let everyone know what’s going on soon enough.
DeleteHow many founders could she have? There’s only 2 comments on that post.
Do her “founders” pay every year? I can’t see anything about cost on her substack.

Cold Antler Farm
Good morning from Cold Antler Farm. One of the things I love about living on a mountain farmed for hundreds of years is the recent archaeological discoveries. Like this Pyrex bowl I found poking out of the dirt
“Recent” as in, within the past 2 years. She posted this same story before on IG.
I’d bet that she really “found it at our local dump!” And then took a photo of her filthy fingers holding it.
DeleteJenna is disingenuous. She’s been posting old pics for years, and pretending that they’re current. It’s all part of her pathological lying.
Deletethis is the second pyrex collectable she's "found in the dirt"
DeleteI guess we know where some of the donations to Friday's care have gone. Disgusting. WIW
Also that inflatable donut is less comfortable than a cone. She can't lay down in that thing.
Deletethat is a PRISTINE bowl, it has not been sitting outside in dirt. That's been in a cupboard for 40 ish years until Jenna PURCHASED IT for probably $20.
DeleteAgain, I would not give a crap what she spends her money on if she were a kind responsible human who took care of her animals first and her own dopamine purchases second.
“Sure Jen.” What a con cunt.
DeleteSo, why did Jenna remove her dog posts from today ( announcement that Tube was removed, Friday is wearing boxer briefs with picture)? She had no comments but 50+ likes.
ReplyDeleteI’m always fascinated by what she deletes!!!
She was shamed into doing it. Jenna often deletes evidence after reading our critical comments here. Her patterns are predictable. Once you start to see them.
DeleteI saw them too, she must have just done it.
DeleteProbably because the photo shows Friday uncomfortably trying to lay with that stupid donut on her neck on a filthy floor while Jenna says the dollar store boxers are meant to keep the wound clean.
Also weird they'd put in a drainage tube and send her home, only to take the tube out less than 24 hours later? If a wound is bad enough to need drainage usually the tube is in for a week. And if it's draining, it needs a dressing, not a pair of boxers.
If it's draining badly enough to need a tube, it was hella infected OR the surgery was pretty major and the interstitial fluid was draining into the abdominal cavity creating enough pressure to keep the wound open.
Poor dog what a nightmare.
