There is just too much wrong.  Loan, animals, hawk, garden, girlfriend, fixing fences.
I hope she doesn’t expect anyone to take her seriously.

  2. "Sunlight and horses ate a balm like no other." I guess she means "are." "... all beautiful and brawny thick little Dorset Crosses." She cannot keep the purple out. I knew someone like this, years ago, and they were all about lists. A cross country ride (that was cheated on) would be full of words like "toe clips" and "panniers." This latest blog entry reads like one solid lie. I would really like the name of that company giving her a loan. Less than three minutes on a computer and they would have her every failure in front of them. And the answer is, "No." The only way I can see her qualifying for that government check is if she's on unemployment, and that's a "no," or if she's on SSI (Supplemental Security Income) for some mental issue. She has no physical disabilities or we'd hear about it, plus SSA has really been slashing at SSI. If PP was embezzling, she can't be getting it from there. And as several of you has said, "With that much debt, and the potential loss of your home, who then goes out and pays for sheep?" It's crazy.

Someone whose life is going that well doesn't have to suddenly make all of their social media accounts private. They don't have a pretend girlfriend. They don't post year old photos of supposed new livestock. Most importantly they don't have to post a crazy bleg post trying to convince everyone that their life is better than ever.

  4. Because I could, I went on Craiglist to see what the price of lambs are in that area. Seem to be $100 and up. I did find the lambs she has supposedly bought. This was the ad

    Lambs - $125 (Ballston spa)
    © craigslist - Map data © OpenStreetMap
    Rt 67 near Paisley rd
    (google map)

I have 3 Dorset cross lambs, one black 2 white. May grow horns.

Certainly seems to be the ones she bought. They are decent looking lambs, and not bottle babies, so I really don't think that she got the three for $125. I believe they were $125 each. She could say she got them all for $125 because in the ad it could be taken either way. I believe she wants to make it seem like it was a super deal that she couldn't pass up.

    1. I think someone she knows bought them and she is saying they are hers. The first photo she posted of them was from last summer and the second one didn't include any background area that shows they are on her property.

How hard is it to post a photo of them outside on her property on the bleg post which was all about getting new lambs ? Yet she didn't and never will.

It's unbelievable that she thinks it's okay to spend any amount of money when she is supposedly in financial dire straits. As if anyone new to her shit show will believe anything that comes out of her mouth about her finances after saying how she recklessly spends money.

    3. Great detective work, Anon 9:28! And not only does the new pic not show any background area, but it was taken from the inside and the lambs are looking out the door. At who?

Also, that shed looks very new. Surely she would have proudly blegged about building one with the brand new lumber she found at the dump?

      Delete
    4. That absolutely looks like a new building.

If she legitimately took the photo somewhere else, like when she first showed up to pick up the lambs, she would also post photos of the lambs on her property.

She continues to post old photos or photos on other properties claiming that animals belonging to other people are owned by her. It's imperative that she keeps the farm lie going. Living in a shit hole being too lazy to get a job isn't going to bring in the donations.

      Delete
  5. I have lived through housing insecurity. Thankfully, I finally bought my first place, at age 40.

Thing is, when your housing is threatened, there is no sudden turnaround until that situation is resolved. There is no respite from the anxiety that comes from the certainty your survival is at stake.

That's why I could never really believe that her mortgage was constantly behind. The story doesn't track. Even if she did manage to get a LOAN to catch up the delinquent mortgage payments, that doesn't mean "this farm" is in "better financial shape than it's been in all year."

That loan is going to come due, those payments are in addition to what you couldn't pay before. It's not financial stability, it's a deeper grave.

As someone pointed out on a previous post, you don't have your delinquent mortgage sold and simply catch up the payments, all is hunky-dory. Your delinquent mortgage now becomes DUE, and you have to get a different loan to refinance it. Other companies don't buy up delinquent mortgages to help people, they do it to turn a profit on the forclosure. If she was telling the truth about being behind on the payments, then that's a situation which is not resolved by a few thousand dollars. A few thousand buys you time to get another mortgage, but yes, as the above said, no way, if FFF was telling the truth in her blog all these years (stop laughing) would she qualify for a loan.

So no, I don't think she is really behind on payments at all, I think she said that to goose donations. I think she has to have additional steady income, because you can't keep that dog and pony show going on $50 soap or $100 logo sales without a damn website.

    Lies lies lies.

That is what keeps me engaged with her, actually. What lie is she going to tell next? What flaw in the story / logic here can we tease out to show that she's lying again?

    It never ends.

It is not beyond the realm of possibility that she's found a woman to live with her. Any number of single queer women couldn't pay their rent in April, and evictions are not paused in all states. FFF tells a good story, and I think it's possible that some young queer woman decided to take a chance in order to save money and maybe it'll work out. I've seen it in the queer community. The u-Haul stereotype exists because women, especially queer women, make far less than their straight counterparts due to employment disparities. Much like low income women are more likely to end up in, and remain in, abusive relationships for financial reasons, queer women are far more likely to merge living spaces early on in a relationship, and to continue to live with their ex for months or years after breaking up, because they can't afford to go it alone.

So yeah, she might have found some vulnerable queer person to con into paying half her mortgage for a while... but given FFF's track record, I don't think that's true either. She seems to just lie about everything.

The hawk died. Video of that hawk release, or it didn't happen.

I agree that this last post was on the manic side, and that might be the only honest thing about it.

    1. This sentence sums it up: "She seems to just lie about everything." I know that her shit-show "never ends," but someday she'll screw it up permanently. JFW will make a mistake that she can't bounce back from, and her faux farm will finally be foreclosed.

    2. "That is what keeps me engaged with her, actually. What lie is she going to tell next? What flaw in the story / logic here can we tease out to show that she's lying again?"

Yep, I find this is what keeps me tuned in as well. I've always thought it's too bad that Jenna didn't decide to become a novelist instead of a farmer. In her early years of blogging/writing, you could see she had talent, and she clearly loves world-building. If she'd put her energy into really learning how to write instead of stringing along this fantasy farm life for ten years, she might be in a very different place.

But that didn't happen, and here we are watching the agrarian version of The Emperor Has No Clothes. One you've been paying attention long enough, it seems unfathomable that others haven't caught on. Imagine if you had a friend like Jenna, someone you'd gone to college with, say, who emailed you every month to tell you she was behind on her mortgage again and was desperately trying to up her freelance game to make the payment. How many months would it take before you started scratching your head and wondering why she didn't get a regular 9-5 job? How many months before you thought, 'How is it that the bank hasn't foreclosed on the house yet? Something doesn't add up here.'

So it's fascinating to watch Jenna spin her story. She's good at it, and so far it hasn't unraveled. I'm one of those who thinks her mortgage woes are probably fabricated, just because it doesn't make sense that she could be behind one or two payments for years and not get foreclosed upon (although I don't know a lot about these things). But if she is staying current with her mortgage, where is the money coming from? It's hard to believe that she gets much financial support from her family. Maybe she makes just enough from donors and from book royalties ( her books are all still in print in paperback, and the most popular ones have recent, fairly positive reviews, so she's probably getting small royalty checks twice a year) and her expenses are just low enough that she muddles through somehow ... seems hard to believe, though.

It's a puzzle, and I enjoy solving puzzles. Somebody ought to do an investigative podcast--"The Jenna Files."

  7. Everyone, I just watched a movie last night on Netflix called Catfish and it reminded me of Jenna and the way she spins stories on the internet.
    .
It's about: When Nev Shulman, a New York photographer, receives a Facebook request from a child named Abby, he cannot guess the unusual odyssey on which he will soon embark. Abby sends Nev an unusually skilled painting based on one of his photos. Intrigued, he begins online relationships with the rest of Abby's family, including her older sister, Megan. Though troubling inconsistencies soon emerge, Nev continues his online flirtation with Megan, resulting in a road trip to meet her in person.

I don't want to go into the specifics too much in case someone here wants to watch it, but it's a fascinating take on creating a fantasy life online and how far it is from the real truth. Give it a look, it will remind you of someone.

    2. Well, that was an interesting rabbit hole. (The movie Catfish, not the MTV series). The show is up to 7 or 8 seasons which is a sad reflection of just how many people have been catfished. Some people really suck.

Anyway, I only watched the Catfish movie trailer and a few other related clips. And I read a few articles and found this interesting quote:

"[Online] impostors are increasingly common. Con artists routinely create (social media) accounts to impersonate people and bilk money from strangers."

Of all the things, possible scenarios, etc., that we wonder about in regards to the CAF shitshow, this catfishing angle seems quite likely. As Anon 9:38 stated up above, nothing ever really adds up or makes any sense. So it's plausible, especially with her graphic design skills, that she just might have an alternate persona that catfishes men into sending her money. Not too farfetched if you think about it.

(BTW, I slightly tweaked that quote to make the gist of it more clear)

    3. I think most of us have suspected as such. It especially became more evident after seeing that she created the Julius Lucas and Dennie Cain online identities.

Apparently it's not enough to scam people under her actual name so she created additional online identities to do so. She completely fits the m.o. of those who "catfish" other people. They are basically losers who have never fit in with society and have a need for a lot of attention. We have seen clear evidence of that in the way she uses the animals as props for attention.

She knows that she will never get online attention for her looks or talent. She most definitely fits the profile of catfishers.

I think it depends a lot on where you live. In the big city it happened a lot, but since we moved across the country and frankly to a more liberal area, we haven't had to deal with street / restaurant / bar harassment since.

If she has an online dating profile, she's received unsolicited propositions from couples. And dick pics. It's universal, regardless of age or body type, queer woman = toy for many entitled couples.

Jpeg connotes she has the original (either she took the photo, or she downloaded it). Screenshot is just that. 4. I do think JFW sometimes takes screen shots of her photos for re-posting, particularly when they are photoshopped to make her look slimmer, less jowly, etc. The reason is software cannot easily determine if photo has been faked if it's a "picture of a picture".

But I also clearly remember the time she stole another person's photo (of delicious-looking pork chops in a cast iron skillet) to try and sell her questionable pork. She got caught, then tried to bs her way through the IP theft. So I have no doubt she steals IP and uses it whenever she can. Look at all the lezwolfmemes. None of those photos were taken by her. They are possibly free to use, but likely not to profit from. I know two of the photos she used clearly stated they were not to be used...but she stole them anyway. Just for the sake of integrity I reporting her thieving a$$ to the owner of the photos.

"Oh Gosh however could she have known the photo belonged to someone else???" Many of her nicer photos were taken by others and, except for the Diane Argus wannabe, she rarely credits them. She's a black hole for honesty and integrity, mostly destroying anything she touches.

    11. fakefarmer, you're a genius! I just right-clicked on the suspicious pic of the 3 lambs in the shed-that-is-not-hers, and it came up as a screen shot.

PDD - If I recall, the real taker of the pork chop pic was not amused when the Pig Shocker claimed she didn't see anyone to credit it to. Sure, like it just magically appeared on her desktop one day. Or maybe she found it at her lucky dump?

Unknown 12:53 - The photo you speak of was found to be Photoshopped, as there were two versions: One with a 1" cleft of cleavage and one with a 3"-4" cleft. She still has both up; one on her bleg, the other on Instagram. She's bonkers.

      Delete
    12. Not genius... lol. Some where in my life I was taught about this. And for some reason I thought it would be interesting to employ here. As to taking screen shots of her own photos- that is redundant. If I wanted to share a photo of something I took with my phone (yes Jenna we know you do). I just simply share it. Blogger does not work well with lots of technology- as I recall on my own blogs, you click "add photo" and it gives you the list of your photos, you can't work well with other browsers, that sort of thing. Blogger needs to up their technology a bit. It makes absolute sense that someone who wants to throw a bleg post together would screenshot a photo for attraction to the post- no matter where she got it from, and then it would come up in her gallery. Easy peasy that way. There is also a way, as I recall to determine when the photo was taken in some cases. Anyway, I believe that if it is cheap, and dirty, and not truthful, that is how it is with this person.

  13. Article on sociopaths:

    https://www.interviewmagazine.com/culture/conscience-lack-of

"SIMON: Sociopaths are adept at engendering pity?

STOUT: You wouldn’t think that someone who’s sociopathic would be interested in creating pity in somebody’s head, but if you pity someone, you will do almost anything for that person. It’s carte blanche. And that’s something I’ve heard over and over again: “He would make me feel really, really sorry for him.” This could be done by having physical illnesses, or appearing constantly to be out of money. However it’s done, it’s done with enough theatrics that the person the sociopath is targeting has a feeling of sympathy. So if you see somebody really pulling for your sympathy while at the same time hurting you intermittently, you should start to wonder. If somebody plays to your pity and really tries to draw that out of you, that’s not normal."

  15. Earlier I wrote about SSI as a possible income source, but since they have been slashed by politicians, I have a hard time believing she’s on that.

Someone asked how social security works. The Social Security Administration (SSA) is headquartered in Baltimore, Maryland and is an independent federal agency They oversea the issuance of social security cards (something you acquire as you get your first job) you pay into the system, if you find work in the private sector. If your work was predominantly State or Federal, then your work hours are with them and you get a State or Federal pension. When you retire, they calculate all of this for the highest possible pension source. You have to earn “quarters” over time to qualify for a social security retirement check. Working five years isn’t going to cut it.

They also oversee the Medicare program, which is for federal, state and private sector employees to cover your medical needs, but it’s not that simple. Basic Medicare will cover your hospital expenses. If you see specialists or your primary care doctor, you are probably going to have to get supplemental health insurance (AARP has one) and you have to pay for what SSA doesn’t cover, which sadly can be a lot. You can also pay for prescription insurance, but it’s usually cheaper to go with GoodRx discount card and your pharmacy and shop for the cheapest prices.

    https://www.goodrx.com/?kw=price&utm_source=bing&utm_medium=cpc&utm_term=pharmacy%20discount|p&utm_campaign=Pharmacy&utm_content=Ad-Group_General%20Pharmacy&msclkid=4d2d4ebde7bb11e3d62c101ca20de340

So we know the Let’s Try Again Sheep Farmer isn’t old enough for regular social security, and she’s not a federal or state employee. She owns property and usually to get on welfare-medicaid, you have to sell your home. Seriously. Be truly indigent. Since we keep hearing about mortgage we can assume she’s trying to buy this home and not renting?
Then we get to SSI or Supplemental Security Income. This usually goes out to underaged (45 in a nursing home with a stroke) or such severally incapacitating mental illness you’d be drugged to high heaven staring out at a barred window (that’s an exaggeration, but you get the drift.) Basically, aging welfare recipients By NO MEANS am I belittling those that seek its service. I am trying to point out through exaggeration that it is very hard to acquire. As many of you have said for years, “She is able bodied and perfectly capable of some form of gainful employment, even if it’s bagging groceries or answering a telephone.

If you are seeking more information on social security, they have their own web site. Don’t take everything I wrote as black and white. For example, you can take an early retirement out, and with that, a diminishment in your monthly paycheck. Lots of variations, but overall, this wouldn’t cover her, and knowing how SSI works now? I’d be amazed if she got money from that source. Why can’t she work? Her hawk ran away, her truck won’t start, she’s falling in love. That tooth. You know the one. She has to wear goats out walking so she can put them on her strong, Daughter of Tyr Earth Mother Warrior of New York shoulders and muster on.

    1. Thanks for your detailed post, anon 1:01. I agree - she doesn't qualify for SSA early retirement; she probably will not even qualify for regular SS eventually, either, because she hasn't paid enough into it. So that's a no-go.

I wanted to clear up a couple misunderstandings, though. "She owns property and usually to get on welfare-medicaid, you have to sell your home." It depends on the state you're in and if they have "expanded" (Obamacare) medicaid insurance options. I'm low income, have a mortgage, and am on expanded adult medicaid coverage in my state. They do not 'take your house' (or one car that you need to get around) to be on this coverage. (Again, depends on the state.) Not sure the exact details, but NY does have expanded medical coverage. She moans enough about being broke and having no health insurance that you'd think she would quality for this, which she probably does. Apparently though (through her own admittance) she does not. So she either has it (and lies about it for the sympathy factor), makes too much to qualify (which I doubt), or just doesn't want to pay the pittance that it would cost to have it so she can buy one more Taylor Swift t-shirt. Take that as you may - we're talking about a compulsive liar here.

Yes, SSI (SS disability) is hard to get onto, but again, you do not have to be drooling behind bars to get it. I personally know a guy that, because of his delusional beliefs in every conspiracy theory out there, was diagnosed as mentally ill and gets SSI. He still works part time, too. With our FFF being such a narcissist, she probably would never go to a mental health professional to get a diagnosis, so she's probably not on SSI. However, if she believed she could get money out of the program, she might. Who knows? I don't think we'll ever know. All I know is, she bilks people out of money at every opportunity, and that's no way to live and just not right.

    2. There's all manners that she can get her funding. But one thing we are all pretty much in agreement of, is that she does not report her income to NYS. They really don't like that. At all. And, there is this easy peasy little form to fill out to notify the IRS of this. :)

      Delete
    3. Yes, she can keep her property and receive disability.

I also know people who receive disability for things like post traumatic stress disorder, depression, etc. Keep in mind this is manipulative Pig Shocker that are talking about. Someone who lies for a living could easily lie their way through a mental competency exam.

The more I think back in hindsight, the more apparent it is that she has been receiving some sort of government assistance.

It would not be beyond the scope for everything she has said online to be a lie.

    5. I definitely agree she has some source of income. There's no way someone can be that behind on mortgage and not foreclose already. She's been talking about foreclosure going on at least 6-7 years ago. Maybe more. She could even have a part-time graphics job from Orvis for all we know. By saying she doesn't work and relies on doing graphics/soap orders/ logos or whatever else, helps her narrative. If people knew she had an actual job, they might not contribute to her faux farm.

    6. Not only has a source, but is living very well. New clothes, new equipment to camp with, newly bought livestock, the feed to feed said livestock, you name it. She lives better than the average person. Far better. And you are right- she can't state she has a job because it would fly in the face of her false narrative.

I wish that we had the funds to hire a private investigator. It would be well worth the expense to expose the FFF for being a beggar, and lying about her sources of income.

    8. Disability payments plus "donations" could fund her lifestyle.
That could be another reason she wants the money she makes online to be considered donations.

In NYS, the donations may not count as income and therefore would not effect any assistance she is receiving.

    9. I vote some sort of disability. (As I said above, I know a guy that gets it, and still works PT so it can't be THAT hard to get if you're persistent.)

Per the IRS, you can be gifted any amount and not owe taxes on it at all. That's why she has a "donation" button on PayPal. Gifts are tax-free for her.

She has mentioned she has a job she doesn't write about. My guess is she has some kind of steady, remote work. It's the same reason she lies about how many commissions she receives, her pretend level of physical fitness, etc.
No one will donate money to or purchase items from someone who is an animal abusing, narcissistic sociopathic, able bodied adult and yet flat out refuses to work to support herself. It us imperative to keep the false narrative going.

    2. Anonymous 9:53. Most reputable companies will do their due diligence before hiring new employees even for "remote work." So I wouldn't be surprised if that's happened to her before, and has hindered getting gigs. I also know that she lies about almost everything, and doubt that there is a secret job.

WDH. Her followers have believed the "false narrative" for a long time, but the pandemic is making people more aware of her obnoxious, non-stop begging. A job? Let's see...there was the work-from-home gig with Orvis that fizzled. Her freelance writing career is skimpy at best, perchance because her articles have a slapped-together feel? Her "amazing" job with Outside Magazine seems to have gone nowhere. Who can forget when she was "hired" to represent area farmers? Never heard anything about it again.

Then there are the imaginary book deals. When all else fails, she tells people she's an artist and a "righter" dammit! Remember the lesbian wolf Nazi fighter book? Her story of Merlin? The falconry book she wanted to write, when she knew essentially nothing about the subject? The book about birds? The homage to a scrappy freehold in upstate NY that turned her from a busty "gal" pleading for dates with men...to a busty "femme" pleading for dates with women?

It's a bit early, since the end of the month isn't for another week, but that means she probably has to wrap up that foreclosure story... for now!!!

    7. The congrats are because she got the loan to catch up on the mortgage. So she'll still have to pay that back, but I guess she escaped foreclosure? Matching one debt with another debt doesn't seem like a smart solution, but I wouldn't know. shrugs.

      Delete
    8. Anonymous 6:42. Was the loan related to the pandemic? It's amazing that a reputable company would give her any money because of past payment history, and also the fact that she's basically unemployed. "Something smells fishy."

      Delete
    9. I don't think so - although maybe she played that card? I think she just applied for a loan for the sole purpose of catching up on her mortgage.

      Delete
    10. I can't help but think that the loan is b.s.

I think she either didn't need the money and thinks that people are able to check the status of her loan (after I posted that JPMorgan is the lienholder) or she received money from somewhere that she doesn't want people to know about so that whomever she weaseled the money from can't be contacted and told what a crazy POS she is.

I think a straight up loan would never happen. Financial institutions would never give a loan to someone who has been unemployed for years and has no way to pay the loan back.

      Delete
    11. I agree with WHS, the foreclosure threats were bullshit, the loan was bullshit, and this whole drama has been manufactured to entice engagement, solicit donations / sales, and feed her ego.

After watching this fiasco for years, off and on, there is no fucking way she has been this close to foreclosure for more than 5 years, and shit hasn't fallen apart yet. It's not because she's especially talented at living on the edge. When you actually have lived on the edge, the painful reality of one thing going wrong and sending your whole life spiraling becomes a cruel and merciless teacher. You change what you're doing very quickly to reduce that vulnerability.

If you are incapable of change, it's usually because of a mental health or addictions issue... which very well could be at play here, BUT people with those challenges see their lives fucking fall apart. People with legit challenges can't hold on to property when they can't pay their fucking mortgage.

There is no way she is really living the life she writes about. I agree with the speculations that she has a steady income, that the mortgage has never been behind, and maybe she is tight on grocery, clothing, or truck repair money but her actual living survival has never been at stake.

When you have The Fear as a result of your actual life and home being threatened, you do what you have to do.

  18. Disability benefits vary by state and if you are a clever writer and/or talented liar, with a good lawyer, surprisingly easy to get. While "stress" is no longer allowed as a reason, there are all sorts of mental disorders and conditions that qualify, such as OCD, crippling anxiety or depression. Additionally, there are non-specific physical and cognitive conditions that qualify, like short term memory loss, inability to reason etc. Since 1996, drug addition and alcoholism alone no longer qualify, but the emotional problems, anxiety, sleep deprivation that result from them may.

The trick is to continue the Disability claims process, while building a solid (even if bogus) back story. It is usual to have the first claim rejected, so the determined person must go through It a second time.

Unfortunately, the people who really need it may not get it, usually because they cannot navigate the application process or get a good enough lawyer. Once you have been awarded disability, you rarely are challenged, despite what you see in newspapers about disability fraud. It just doesn't happen.

I knew a draft designer who claimed partial loss of vision and short term memory loss following a botched surgery. He applied for disability twice, and ultimately received $$$. He was too disabled to work, yet was a prodigious golfer and fished & backpacked extensively. I knew another person who received disability for a physical limitation, yet had a home-based business using the same skills he claimed he no longer had. Both had homes, cars, etc. The second person was reported to State and they essentially ignored. I was told it isn't worth their while. At most, he would get a capped 60% of his pay until age 65, and the total $$$ he would receive didn't justify their overall effort.

So it is very possible that JFW claimed a disability and has been receiving it.

    ReplyDelete

    1. PDD, I think this is the most likely explanation too. My sister had a heck of a time getting disability benefits, and she got off them as soon as she received treatment that actually worked (yay!) But once on, she could have coasted for the rest of her life, since her documentation and diagnosis was rock-solid. She choose to go to college instead and has a very good career she can do with her limitations.

I have a high-school acquaintance, former friend, who got on disability in his 20s for depression. He was too depressed to work! Well, that was likely true for a while, but this guy has coasted on benefits the past 20 years.

I'm not saying we should force people receiving benefits to prove they need it over and over - they do that in the UK and it just adds unnecessary stress and uncertainty to an already impoverished life... but I do wish there was a better system in terms of services and support, keeping in touch with people to ensure everyone had the access to get themselves the training to get different work, if possible, or better services to improve mental health issues.

    2. Hmmm...interesting. Well, unless she is even stupider than we think, it couldn't be anything physical cuz she brags about 5K runs, horsey rides and smashing mountains AND posts tons of pics of this "physically active" lifestyle all over social media.

Only a total idiot would do that, so I'm thinking low IQ or something mental.

      Delete
    3. Anon7, it really is more complicated than "common sense" would dictate. If there is no direct proof (video or photo) of physical limitations, her attorney would say her writings were hyperbole, that she didn't do such things. And if she performed physical activities with proof? Attorney would claim they were low level activities (riding horse at walk only) or that she was in great pain immediately afterwards and rarely did or used old photos. It can unfortunately be something of a racket for those who intend to abuse the system.

Interestingly, disability is also based on the individual's ability to perform their usual and customary type of jobs. This means if her, ahem, job required very complex designs, close team actions, detailed project management and she could convincingly argue she could no longer do these tasks (crippling depression or acute social anxiety) - she might get disability. And once you receive disability, there is a tendency to keep it.

Fun fact on disability claims. Each State's unemployment calculations are based on # people who want jobs, are able to work, but cannot find jobs. In many parts of the country (like the rust-belt and rural areas), factory jobs have disappeared, and these may have been the only jobs in the area. Employees who developed physical ailments (bad backs, damaged joints) but no longer have jobs available, are more likely to be diagnosed as "disabled" by local doctors...because traditional jobs are long gone and doctors feel they are doing a good deed, allowing patients to get some $$$. Money they need to live on. It becomes a cycle.

Here's one of multiple articles on the topic.

The Pandemic Unemployment Assistance (PUA) program, which was included in the Federal CARES Act, provides unemployment benefits for individuals who are ineligible for traditional unemployment insurance. Examples of those covered by PUA include:

    Self-employed New Yorkers;
    Independent contractors;
New Yorkers who worked for an app-based company (i.e. "gig workers")
    Farmers;

Like have her produce at least one bill of sale for something that was raised on and sold from her supposed farm? Cuz if not, then just about anyone could lie and say they are a farmer.

    2. She could claim that her "gig" business, the drawings (maybe even furry business?) and soap, have dropped off thus qualifying her. I'm an independent contractor transcriber, and my state is also opening up unemployment benefits for ICs, plus the $600 per week from the Feds. In my state, we have NEVER qualified for unemployment (one of the many joys of being self-employed). The difference between our FFF and me? I actually WORK (nasty 4-letter word) and pay my bills doing this. It rankles me to think that she would get benefits by lying, when so many of us are legitimate workers.

Most religious take vows of poverty and are well educated (to be teachers or help the poor, etc.) I knew one line of her bullshit and they'd be shooting visual bullets at her. Does anyone remember this or what happened? I know her classes fell apart when reports came back you couldn't put your camper on her property, use her bathroom, and had to stay in town or something. That she had left a teaching group (archery, hauling logs, soapmaking, I don't know) to chase some escaped animals and stayed gone some time and they came back to reality, if you will, bitching about all of the above and more. Not only does the feral, hard-working 'farmer' manage to run 'this farm'(feed/water a few animals) shlepping pails (up the mountainous slope to the herd) - - I guess the 'garden' gets watered with a simple watering can (or perhaps a soup ladle dipped into the pail). I suppose that works for a handful of kails (good with quail) lined up in the kailyard.

Thinking back, the hose issue may have been a whine for the lack of funding for multiple, or at least one other loooong hose so water could reach the animals via spigot at the house. I think a new hose (maybe to replace one with, oh no, a leak?) may have been on a wish-list years ago...

...in which case she just might be able to easily reach the thirsty kails with only one hose, leaking or not (or can, or pail/ladle combo). Whew.

  27. How about a virtual visit to Antlerstock 2012, where people paid at least a hundred dollars each to learn from FFF? FFF must have thought she'd grabbed the golden ring, receiving $$$ to impart country lore and wisdom, with "experts" to teach the right way of homesteading.

Since I never attended, who knows what was covered, possibly a lot of good information, but I was struck by how filthy the property was - moldy hay, dirty barns, trash strewn around and overgrazed pastures. Plus, there was a serious lack of hygiene and safety.

Brown Dog Photos captured the essence of Antlerstock, people standing around, looking vaguely confused and probably wondering why they drove hours and spent good money to learn what could be googled in a couple of hours.
    thttps://www.browndogphoto.com/Events/2012-10-Antlerstock/

Let's see. There's a blond guy who instructed "wood cutting". Amazingly he blatantly ignored industry standards for chain saw safety (see below). He used a chain saw without face or eye protection. (Hopefully, he doesn't teach his students at Paul Smith College to work this way!)

    https://youtu.be/5sydn13KWeU

Then there were the barely supervised people, including adolescents, trying to throw hand axes at a target and also use axes to chop and split wood for Jenna. This really was the height of chutzpah to have people pay to do her chores, lol.

Per usual, FFF let others do the actual work. Some of the photos are priceless, so do look around. There is Patty almost trampled by her own horse. Jenna looking every bit as I imagined, lurched over cooking utensils making ointment and cheese, bare-fisted and wearing the same clothes she uses for barn chores - kilt and boots undoubtedly covered in fecal dust and dirt.

Bad as it looks, this was her property after only two years of ownership. She's had a further eight years to abuse the pretty homestead she bought in 2010. She's let animals overgraze the land and ignored basic property maintenance, like roof repair, painting barns and cleaning up manure. It's much worse today.

For example, I noticed that the six-rail metal gate that stands in front of the horse paddock in 2012 now only has four rails showing ... the rest is covered by years of rotted manure and hay. No wonder she talks about tapeworms and other parasitic worms living on her property.

Enjoy the photos of Antlerstock 2012 ... and be forever grateful you do not live near that place...or downriver or downwind.

In fact, Staunch Characters extolled Ms. Bates' performance in turning a nobody into a monster.

      https://thedissolve.com/news/4325-in-misery-kathy-bates-made-a-nobody-into-a-monster/

"As Annie Wilkes, the self-proclaimed No. 1 fan of self-loathing romance novelist Paul Sheldon (James Caan), Kathy Bates is disturbing even before we see her face. She plays Annie as a woman of tremendous, mousy drabness. She wouldn’t look out of place in Grant Wood’s “American Gothic,” dresses in K-Mart finery, and fills her house with tacky bric-a-brac. All this masks a deep-seated psychosis. Before we see Annie, we hear her distorted voice proclaiming to the incapacitated Paul that she’s his “No. 1 fan” in a way more likely to disturb him than put him at ease...

It is the faux-wholesomeness... that makes her such an unforgettable monster. She is the wallflower as sociopath, the spinster as avenging angel. In the film’s tense first act, the violence and rage lies just underneath the surface, behind the bland smiles and torrents of praise...

Bates is terrifying in the way she yo-yos between trying to ingratiate herself ... and physically torturing ... One moment she’s the smiling face of faux-kindness. The next, the life has emptied from her face as she dispiritingly professes to love ... And the next she’s wild-eyed with rage as she physically attacks..."

Shamsters, grab the sledgehammer. And the popcorn.

    3. I've been saying Pig Shocker looks and acts like Annie Wilkes for years! 🤣😂😅

It's as if the part was written with Pig Shocker in mind.

    4. Wait, are those a bunch of (presumably untrained) people felling a tree, on a roadside, with no protective gear? Looks like a liability to me...

      Delete
    5. Also how can she claim to be so afraid of cutting her own trees for firewood, yet based on Antlerstock she should have presumably gotten training on felling, moving, and bucking trees with everyone else? Isn't the whole premise here that she's sharing HER knoweldge with others? So she should know how to handle those tasks.

    2. All great points, PDD. And I'm glad you mentioned the shit state of her property, as being the cidiot that I am, I didn't notice all the neglect and dirtiness of that faux farm until you expertly pointed it out. This also goes for many others here who have, on many occasions, taken the time to kindly explain farm things to those of us who don't know much about that.

BTW, some of those pictures of the Pig Shocker are just downright scary...nightmare material for life for sure.

  29. Re: the latest good news. Here's what Jenna wrote on April 3, roughly three weeks ago: "If I can get two more mortgage payments in we can work out a new payment plan, possibly refinance, possibly get a loan modification."

Having recently gone through a refinancing of my mortgage in order to make home improvements, I can tell you that even before COVID-19, it was a long, drawn-out process, involving the submission of all sorts of paperwork--credit reports, tax returns, etc.--as well as several different entities having to give their approval. I have an excellent credit score, have never missed a payment of any sort--and still, it was an in-depth, time-consuming ordeal, and it was slowed down considerably by recent events. So the idea that Jenna could refinance her mortgage or modify a loan in three weeks strikes me as highly unlikely, even if she had the best of credit scores and payment records. But if she's really two or three mortgage payments behind, I don't see it.

All this to say, I don't think she got a loan or a refinance. I don't think she's behind on her mortgage. I think this is just another Jenna Drama: Big Crisis, followed all too quickly by the Big Happy Ending (that never gives many details about how the crisis was resolved, just that it was).

For what it's worth, I don't think she's telling these stories to get donations. I think she's telling them to get attention. She got tons of "you go girl" replies to her good news--more replies than any tweet of hers has gotten in ages. Whenever hearts and comments dwindle, something awful happens in Jenna-ville, resulting in all sorts of Twitter love--and, it should be noted, all sorts of conversation going on over here. She likes that. She likes that we discuss her. And I'm not suggesting that this blog go silent because of it. Just pointing out that Jenna likes attention, and it doesn't much matter if it's positive or negative. She's a lot like Trump, really. You can't say anything negative to her face, of course, but if you're discussing her, even derisively? It fills her up.

Also, for what it's worth, I think Jenna comes over here to learn how to craft her story--if someone comments that there doesn't seem to be much proof of farming over at her place, her twitter and her blog are suddenly filled with news of the farm. She gets a lot of help from us. Nothing to be done about it, I suppose. It's actually sort of interesting to watch.

Do note that in the aftermath of her good news reveal, she's now down 4,819 followers. So for all the "you go, girl" folks, there are apparently more and more "something isn't adding up here" dissidents.

    1. That was well-put. I also track her Twitter account, and the numbers are dropping almost daily. I think that negative attention probably pisses her off, because she can't do anything about it but whine online. Eventually all of her bad business decisions, animal abusing, online begging, and scrappy scamming will lead to her downfall. Whether or not she "gets a lot of help from us." Basically, she'll screw herself in the end. And it'll be due to her stubborn stupidity, refusal to learn from past mistakes, emotional immaturity, mental illness, inability to save and spend funds wisely, and rejection of advice from experienced, authentic farmers.

I agree with your assessment. It could be she isn't even getting much of a drama-boost in sales or donations when she spins these yarns, her payoff is in the attention.

That jives with all the virtue-signalling she does too.

I wonder if anyone reading this thread has been scammed by FFF recently? It's well-established that she considers payment for product or services she hasn't yet delivered upon to be money in the bank, and that a failure to deliver on promised products or services is acceptable to her.

This whole fake foreclosure scare is proof she never has been in financial jeopardy. As stated above, making those extra catch up payments doesn't solve a problem like foreclosure. She should now need to qualify for a new loan, and it would be a shitty loan with shitty interest rates if she could even get one in this risk-averse covid recession.

Everything's hunky-dory at CAF! Better shape than ever!

Bullllllll shiiiiiiiiit. A real foreclosure threat is not resolved this quickly.

It's too bad people in general are so gullible and just believe what they're told.

    3. Excellent hypothesis, Anon 8:32 - Especially your points about it being a long, drawn-out process (pre-Covid) and the amount of people involved in the approval. And at this time? Sure Jan...er...Jenna. Sure. And thank you for sharing your personal experience, which sheds light on all the bullshit the Pig Shocker is currently waddling through.

Luckless Slinger - We should start a pool for how low her foollower numbers will sink to before she panics and pulls the privacy plug. She's down to 4,818 right now, which is almost 50 foollowers lost in less than one month. I'll bet once it dips to below 4,800, like say 4,797. That's my guess based on how big this approval starved narcissist is.

Anon 4:51 - Yes, the fact that she thinks it's OK to rip people off speaks volumes. And great point about her qualifying for any type of loan during this whole time-sucking pandemic. Surely the normal workforce is slimmer due to a myriad of reasons. There's no doubt there are delays for banking procedures of any kind. But she wants everyone to believe things were magically resolved in just a few weeks? What a bald-faced liar she is.

  30. Taking out another loan to cover overdue mortgage payments does not mean you are caught up. You didn't catch up. You accumulated more debt, and with interest, it will cost you even more in the long run. You are not saved. The hole has only gotten deeper.

I don't understand how people are congratulating her about this news. She didn't accomplish anything. Her "hard work" hasn't "paid off".

    She's only failing harder.

(If, and that's a big if, she's taken at her word.)

Her new "loan" reminds me of the English idiom "Robbing Peter to pay Paul." It won't work out in the end, and doesn't make her faux farm solvent.

  31. Luckless mentioned above that Patty is probably who gave Jenna the "loan". Jenna is now caught up on her mortgage because she never intends to pay Patty back! Another successful scam!

    2. Being that Patty isn't the most honorable person, I'm still surprised that she has anything to do with a Pig Shocker. Perhaps being friends with PS boosts her self esteem? Kinda like how some women will befriend lesser beings so that their own faults don't seem that bad in comparison?

  33. The photo on the new bleg post totally looks more like PPs property than Pig Shockers. Funny how she makes a point to say that she could barely take the photo because the goat was crawling on her.

    Yeah right.

That must why she made absoloutely sure there weren't any recognizable buildings or pasture in the photo.

No one believes that the lambs are on her property at this point. Each photo makes it more obvious.

  34. You're right about the lamb pics looking like Pember Patty's property and not her hovel. The last sentence was stupid. She can shove her "six scrappy acres!" up her fat ass. And "luck" always has to be mentioned, too. She recently bragged about "I'm quarantining with a wonderful woman now." But it hasn't been mentioned again. I'd think that a love interest would be first and foremost on her mind. I wouldn't be surprised if "her girl" has headed back home to the Boston area. And as mentioned above, she'll probably respond to what we write. C'mon, attention whore for more. Wait for it: 5, 4, 3...

    1. I have the same fencing. It is electronet fencing. That is the same tree as in a picture about 6 posts back on her blog, of the three little lambs. See that bent branch on the left of the pic in the older post. You can see the same branch in today's pic. That is her property and her crumbling little shelter.

Are you saying there is proof here that the lambs are on PP's property and not at CAF?

Any chance you could post a link to the two photos you are comparing? I can't seem to find the similarities.

If this is proof the hoof-stock is at PP's property, well, that's rather a good thing, isn't it? it means someone other than a known animal neglect culprit is legally responsible for the animals, right?

      Delete
    3. For one thing, the FFF's sheep shack doesn't have a "cute" little window like the one shown in the photo. The lambikins must be on someone else's property.

      Delete
    4. It definitely is a property other than Shit Show Farm.

What a loser to have to claim someone else's livestock as their own. Since there are only a few lambs, I would not put it past Pig Shocker to load them up and bring them to her place.
So far, her laziness has prevailed per usual and she has been taking photos of them on the property where they ACTUALLY live.

      Can you imagine?

PS: So the lambs are getting their shots? Mind if I come over and take photos of it for my crappy bleg?

      Lamb Owner: Sure!
(Thinking as long as Pig Shocker's crazy ass is keeping her farm lie alive and scamming for a living, it's less money that she will be asking to borrow).

    1. I could see that they were there. This means they will be dead in.. well, let's start a pool. Anyone care to guess how long they will live? I am thinking round about July, they will succumb to no feed, and parasites. And, that will be after myriad times getting out. She will stress them by letting her dogs play with them. Any animal that goes to that place goes to DIE.

    3. I think that only HD can post photos.
At this point even if they were there, it doesn't mean that they actually live on the property. An entire flock, maybe. But just a few? That's way too easy to take them from their owner's property to PS's for a photo op.
